Historic Preservation

KEEPING IT REAL

The turn-of-the-century carpenters were reliably trained through an apprenticing culture that instilled all of the finer points of craftsmanship. Today's old classics were yesterday's every day work.

At Kelly Carpentry, part of repairing an older home is the practice of classic joinery and use of engineered materials to make a home withstand the decades of use it will have going forward. In our business, building is as much of an art as it is a science. This is why we like to work on old homes.
